Bill Bayer
For more than fifteen years, Bill Bayer has been one of the top business consultants in the St. Louis area. His knack for helping business people see the larger picture, coupled with an uncanny ability to see through and diagnose problems, has helped many of his clients' businesses through turbulent times.
Bill received his MBA from the University of Missouri, Columbia. He worked for Citicorp in various management positions from 1977 until 1990. His experience at Citicorp included positions as Business Manager, Chief Financial Officer, Head of Operations and Director of Wholesale Mortgage Lending. From 1990 until 1992 he was Vice President, Direct Access Division, with Lincoln Service Corporation, another major financial institution.
In 1993, he joined Grace & Company, the largest St. Louis-based accounting firm at the time, as Partner-In-Charge of the Business Consulting Group. Over the next 10 years, he built the consulting practice to a $2.5 million practice focusing on Strategic Planning, Leadership, Operations, Human Resources, Financial Consulting, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Business Valuations. In 2002, Bill joined InterGlobal, Inc., as Chief Operating Officer. Over the next 3 years, he led a team which restored this manufacturer and importer in the building industry to profitability.
In mid-2004, Bill founded Compound Capital, LLC to work with business owners to address the strategic, operational and financial issues that business owners face every day. He also assists business owners with Wealth Planning and Ownership Transition. As part of his business plan, Bill began drawing business owners together to meet, learn, and help one another. These meetings and his ongoing consulting were the beginning of Lighthouse Growth Resources which was formally launched in 2007.
Bill is also a frequent public speaker locally and nationally on topics such as Business Strategy, Leadership, Wealth Planning, and Business Growth. His speeches and other presentations have been acclaimed both locally and nationally.
Tom Kraeuter
After working for the past twenty years exclusively in the not-for-profit sector, Tom is now assisting Lighthouse Growth Resources’ clients with marketing solutions. His extensive background in sales, advertising and marketing is proving to be a major asset for LGR. Tom’s experience in layout and graphic design, coupled with his understanding of website design and functionality is an added benefit for LGR clients.
Jennifer Bayer
Jennifer Bayer joined the Lighthouse Growth Resources team in 2009 to assist in tax and accounting work for LGR and many of its clients. Jennifer earned her B.S. in Accounting from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. She worked as the accountant for a private high school for several years during and after college and has a natural knack for understanding finances. Jennifer brings a sharp eye and critical mind to the field of financial services for LGR's clients.
Britney Hamm
Britney Hamm assists Lighthouse Growth Resources with social media marketing, editing, and administrative tasks. In recent years she has branched into the world of blogging and has written newsletters, brochures, fliers, and more for a collegiate ministry in Kansas City, Missouri. Her eye for detail and design, paired with her love for writing, editing, and reading and her experience in the new world of social media, make her a viable asset for Lighthouse.
